Fashion Showcase: Halston

Way before a "discount" store like Target carried designer labels such as Issac Mizrahi..Libertine..Tracy Feith & others, bringing high fashion to middle America, Halston did a line in the 80's for JC Penney. It was considered the move that "broke" his label. Taking his high end designs to a low end market and some would say they were never viewed the same way again. Boy have times changed.

The re-launch of the label under creative director Marco Zanini, which was Donatella Versaces longtime first designer, is showing some magnifficent improvement. I love the flowing styles which stay true to Sir Halstons original signature style.

Roy Halston is synonymous with classic cuts, ultra suede and timeless designs
