Super Bowl Sunday.... I am hoping the Steelers Win! It has been a quiet weekend with a two day break from my studies in preparation for a busy week. Colds came and went last week and thank goodness everyone is feeling better! We went to Jake's cousin Alden's birthday party. It has been a wonderful almost five years watching these little guys grow in to young boys. The toddler stages are over and kindergarten will be starting soon, while exciting it is ever so bittersweet. Enjoying the most out of every molment! Jake is resting.. I redid my front room this weekend..pics to come. The 6 week detoxification regimin is going well. The energy from the vitamins is noticable. Eating Vegan sure has it's challenges though. The pros: I find I actually like soy milk, I have been making lots of smoothies after a smoothie hiatus that has lasted a few years! and adjusting without meat in the picture has been somewhat easy to do...The cons: the cheese...I love cheese. In any case it is Superbowl Sunday and I am making this cake and these nachos and allowing myself to live a little. I just cannot eat another spinach salad and watch the game. It is going to be a busy week but a very blessed one. Looking forward to what the rest of the month brings.
