  1. I love black and white photography. The contrast from white and then every shade of gray, and there are many, and shades up ending in Black. You do well.
When you study the make up of any colored TV picture, the basic picture is a perfect black and white picture with proper contrast and brightness. Once the basic picture is adjusted, the color circuits simply lays the color timed by a synchronizing oscillator that superimposes the color over the Black and white picture.
So I always told my customers that the only real picture on a TV is Black and White. With out the basic picture, you have a black background and blobs of color moving around. In TV talk then you have lost you video signal and have nothing but, chroma; color and audio.
So how is that for a comment.
    Good job.

  2. Thank you!:) And that is a great comment, I am often times mezmorized by the simplicity of black & white photography as well. The depth it brings to a subject or a landscape allows one to truly "focus". It was through these pictures a love affair began with this area, in all of its emptiness and waste.. it is a classic and beautiful has been.
